Can almost assure it will help with the soreness quite a bit. It isn't terrible so it is not overly noticeable but that's a good 4-5 degree tilts which you WILL notice.

Totally agree. Always helps when the person holding the camera knows what they are doing.

Beautiful! That looks a lot like it was inspired by Hampsten's Strada Bianca.

Yeah the Traveler has the same frame as the Le Tour. I don't know what it is about that frame in that size and the geometry and all that jazz, but my Le Tour really works for me. It feels really great, I need to get out and ride it more. I thought I might sell it because I had too many bikes, but others will get sold before that one. I need to add some new levers and some actual bar tape for more comfort.

Raleigh Clubman

I'm riding this about once a week into Memphis, TN, 7 miles each way. I have to dress up a little for work, but there's a space where I can change.

Nice bike, not a lot of reviews out there. I switched out the Brooks Swift that came with it for a pre aged Brooks B17. Tires are narrow, 25mm, can't go bigger with the narrow fenders. I changed out the front handlebar stem, it was too long for me. This is a 62 cm size, the biggest they make. I'm 6'-3", it fits fairly well, but I could probably handle a 64 cm. Not many around for me to try unfortunately. I had to order this bike without seeing it, since the bike shops didn't want to take a chance on a tall frame they couldn't sell.
Fenders rattle some, and take some adjustment sometimes because they are so narrow.

Overall a nice bike, I get lots of compliments. The dog is a stray i picked up, he was a small puppy, half starved, now a thriving bundle of energy, teeth and mischief. Named Jethro.

It happens to be her favorite frame and we had all the pieces we needed. AlsoIt is a relatively smooth ride. I would upgrade the Brake Levers and Brakes which I think is first on her list of things to do. Also, she wants to lengthen the bike a bit as we'll probably be doing a quill stem adapter with a 110 stem on a 12 or 16 degree rise. This should help her position a little better and not have to deal with chest issues so much.

It's a great bike though.

Lol, I noticed it after I typed it all out and posted it. I was hoping nobody would catch how vain I was being. That didn't work too well 7 yr olds commuting to school is a lost ability in this day and age unfortunately. Some schools don't even allow bicycles. It's kind of a real shame. I would pleasantly surprised if more people in general commuted by bicycle.

Yes, those are nice. How much weight is saved on the drilled version compared to the standard? Or is it more about looks?

The bottles look great. But I would think metal would absorb too much heat and you would be drinking hot water.

Here's my 2010 Trek Soho S. This bike sat in my garage for a year and a half collecting dust. I just started commuting 4 miles each-way to the bus. After two weeks of doing this, I think I am hooked.

Today, I bought a new helmet, SPD A530 pedals, a 15 mm pedal wrench and a pair of Specialized Tahoe shoes. The pedals were easy to install and I got the cleats screwed into the bottom of the shoes. I only fell down once trying to get out of the pedals.

Very nice set-up. This commuting thing is kinda addicting isn't it?

Thanks. My first purchase when I started was a Cygolite USB Hotshot. I wear a high-viz jacket and my new helmet is white too. I'm mainly on paved trails, but I am getting more comfortable with riding in moderate traffic. I'm a motorcycle rider too, so I know that cars often do not see 2 wheeled vehicles, no matter how bright I look.

It is. I really look forward to it. I just feel better in the morning and I am careful on what I consume (beer!) the night before.

My commuting bikes: Right now they all get about equal time, I just pick whatever I am in the mood for.

1982 Peugeot P8 recently resurected after bottom bracket replacement. Currently fully fendered 1X10 but has also been SS and Fixed. This bike has been such a pain but I love the way it rides and can't let her go.
