Advice needed on how to remove the smell

Earlier this winter I purchased for $12, from a local department store, a pair of hunting gloves that are waterproof, windproof and very warm. The gloves work great - in fact too good in that my hands sweat even with the current cold temperature. Therein lies the problem. The sweat has created a smell that I can live with, however, my hands get very smelly after I've worn them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the smell from inside a glove?

You could try throwing some shoe balls in them while you're not wearing them.

Wash them in a laundry bag, but dry them in the open air. I use a short section of a cardboard tube to allow air to get inside and they dry fairly quickly. At work, I set them on the back of a monitor and they are dry before going home (and warm too). At home, I will use a wire clotheshanger hanging from a heating vent and attach the gloves (with tubes) to it with clothespins.

I have never had a problem washing gloves in a laundry bag--but the heat from a dryer can shorten their life.

I use my refrigerator to dry off wet gloves. Lots of heat coming from the back of that bad boy.

I rotate three pair and launder them regularly. Worst case, I have one clean pair, one pair I'm wearing and one waiting to be washed.

I hate stinky, nasty gloves.

I was afraid to open this thread - looked at the title and thought it might have been another bike pants discussion.

Try throwing some baking soda or talc powder inside them. It will absorb the odor.

My experience is that gloves stink and even freshly laundered gloves quickly regain their smell. Just wash them regularly.

In the summer my neoprene lined Specialized gloves reek to high heaven within a day of being laundered.
