Early Spring Gear: shorts and studs
I guess it's technically still winter but I will be sporting bike shorts (yes lycra) and studded tires on my way home today for our first foray into 60+ degree weather this year. I've been tempted to get out the summer bike but have resisted so far. It helps that it doesn't have any wheels right now 
Oh, and a great big raspberry to any one who says knees should remain covered until it's at least 70. Last Wednesday it was below 0 and I had to break out the ski goggles again.
