I have one of these: https://www.niterider.com/prod_minmini.shtml
I like it quite a lot. It's not bright enough for riding at speed in total darkness, but it's enough to roll along at 10mph or so, so long as the road is in good shape. I mounted the light on my helmet, and I keep the battery in my backpack, and just connect them when I'm ready to go.
I paid around $100 for it - a very good lumens-to-dollars ratio!

The Dinotte 200L, including batteries and charger is like $130. I'd put it's max speed at more like 15mph. You can order it online through the Dinotte site, or places like REI sell it.

i like the nite rider MiNewt.X2
i have no qualms about riding with this light in complete darkness at high speed.
sometimes i mount the light and the battery to my helmet using the included o rings and the weight is not as noticable until a couple hours into a ride. you can get a longer cord and drop it in your pocket too.

I have this light as well. It works great. Their rear light is fantastic too. If you get the model that takes AA batteries then you can replace the batteries at your local drug store instead of having to spend lots of money on proprietary batteries from the manufacturer of your light. My battery wore out on my niterider and they stopped making it, so I had to throw the whole thing out.

I put a P-7 flashlight on my helmet. Nice bright flood. I don't think I could outrun it.
I think I paid $60 for the light, the 18650 batteries (I bought 4 -- it uses one) and a charger.
