info on 2005 Fuji Ace Road bike?

Anyone have information on a 2005 Fuji Ace Road Bike?? I can't seem to find much information about it online. How is it at $150? Steal or rip off?

how does this compare with a 2002 Sirrus A1 at the same price?

Wow, ya looked hard

Bottom end on the quality scale. If it all works it's worth it.

i looked at the bikepedia article, but that only gives specs... i wanted some personal opinions on how it performs

also, i wanted to know if the 2002 sirrus a1 would be considered a better deal at $150 (better bang for the buck?)

My personal opinion, based on the specs, is that the Fuji will perform like an entry-level road bike.

The Fuji is a better deal if you want a drop-bar road bike. The Sirrus is a better deal if you want a flat-bar road bike.

Specs are usually a good indicator of how a bike will perform. Low end components are for the most part going to me more problematic. Aluminum frames ride harsher, aluminum fork much worse than carbon or cro-mo. The Fuji is all low end. Bottom of the line components, cheap alum frame, an aluminum fork.

I especially like this one: "I do love the Ace, even though it does look funny in such a large size. The stock tires suck, wheels are heavy, and the stock seat hurts "in between spot", and the Sora drivetrain would rather you backed off the torque a bit during downshifts, but otheriwse it's a great bike!"

Sirrus is a flat bar hybrid, the Fuji a low end road bike. Sirrus is better quality, but older so it may be a wash. What is your intention for what you buy? I'm assuming commuting based on the forum this is in, but distance, surface, frequency might be a good idea to list so that others can make recommendations.

I'd be looking for something with some durability then, like a Cyclocross bike.
