Test rode couple more bikes (Lucas Valley, Defy)

Saw a good deal on 2009 Lucas Valley. Has provision for rack and full-fenders. Bar was too wide which can be narrowed, but I'm not accustomed to flat bars anymore. Brakes are nicer than Tricross which I test rode last week. Geo seemed to be more Tricross-like than roadbike-like.

Sales guy said I should test out a Giant Defy (dunno which one, Sora/Tiagra mix). Much more appealing ride. I jsut took this one out coz the guy 'insisted'. Doesn't have provision for full-fenders.

My favourite bike is still the Condor Agio, but that's £1130, a rather expensive winter commuter. It could possibly replace my Allez, even though Allez has more 'fun' geometry. Here's a link:

May just get that 2009 Tricross Sport and be done with it. Getting it for £700, the 2010 is £850, and not much has changed (different cassette). Add £50 for rack + 45mm fenders.
