Felt Cafe as a commuter / grocery getter?

Just curious if anyone has tried out the Felt Cafe? I'm sort of kicking around the idea of one as a casual commuter and weekend around town bike. I'm looking at the Deluxe 24 model but I'm going to have to sell of a couple of my C&V bikes first.

I tried a search and didn't find an obvious thread so thanks for any input or links to other comments.

Saw this old thread and had the same question. Any Cafe 24 owners out there who can give us a report?

Meh. No internally geared hub option, no chain guard, canti brakes - I don't see anything special here, am I missing something?
