Giro Indicator LIVESTRONG Adult Cycling Helmet

Anybody have one of these? Dick's has them on sale and I found one that fits well at my local store. Not sure it has room for a hat underneath but for a headsweat it should be big enough.

Isn't that just one of those "universal"-fit helmets? The Dick's website says so...

That may be. I noticed on the box that there were some measurements indicating size. So I thought it prudent to look into proper sizing etc. and not just "how it feels". Turns out my head is 23" which the high end of "MEDIUM" and low end of "LARGE".

If anyone needs a printable tape measure - EBAY had one (PDF). Be sure to print it at 100 % with no scaling. There are two areas to check for that, in "page setup" and also in the "print" dialog screen. It's a hassle to print cut and tape it together, and fortunately I found an actual tape measure.

Got the helmet, turns out it fits up to 24" heads - so being 23" I'm all set, and there should be a tiny bit of room for a headsweat type bandanna.

If you buy it from the store - be sure to get the sale price - it did not ring up with the advertised $5.00 off. Not sure how long it will be on sale. It is in their current flyer.
