I found my new love

A new found love. I have been struggling with buying a new commuter for work. I had a 2008 giant boulder for winter riding, but $1500.00 upgrades this spring makes me more protective of everyday use. It was upgraded for touring. Yes, I could have bought a nice touring bike, but I wanted a bike that can go anywhere off road. Well back to my new love. I had received an old Schwinn bike from a friend back in December. It is a Schwinn Ridge hybrid. This bike was going to be my beater for the summer, and winter ride. Last Friday, I had replace the handle bars with north road bars, a new seat post holding a B-17 saddle,
Alivio trigger shifters, and a nice axiom rear rack. I had my favorite LBS replace these parts, and tuned it up. When, I got this bike back, the first mile was a dream, and it has not stop even after 91 miles. This bike is a perfect fit. I have no desire to buy a new bike. I found my new love.
