Bike Maintainence Book?

Just ordered this book

https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/...odd+downs%2527

But I need to know if there any other good, possibly even better book(s) that have pictures, easy to follow instructions and will work with either of our hybrids and possible road bikes in the future.

I'm getting a new saddle for my birthday on Saturday but would love to know how to replace the old one with it asap (I have no patience) I'm sure my husband or I could "just figure it out" but I want to make sure we do it and other maintainence/upgrades the right way.

Thanks in advance

My vote:
Park Tool - "Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair"

P.S.
Don't let your husband near your bike.
This is your baby. He'll just screw it up.

Good plan.
With the Blue Book, you'll keep both of you rolling. He can concentrate his time on..... other things..

Everytime I talk to you, my computer freezes. What the **** is wrong with you? I think that you're probably a witch!

Anyways, here's a picture of my just bathed bike sitting in the garden, sunning itself.

Underneath the seat, next to the seatpost, you'll see a silver cylinder.
Stick something in it that fits and turn whichever way loosens it.
That will release the seatrails. Do the opposite when you get your new saddle.

$5 please.

I'm a "cash only" kinda guy, but the oohing and ahhhing is more than an adequate recompense.

Looking forward to the pic.

I like the Bicycling book you ordered. I also have Howard Zinn's "Zinn and the Art of Road Bike Maintenance". There are times when I get stuck trying to figure out a problem and end up consulting both of these books, Sheldon Brown's website, the Park Tool site and Bicycle Tutor too.

For most repairs, I start by looking at the Park Tool site, then take the two books out to the garage for reference.

This is a pretty good one:
https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Do-Yo...8182662&sr=1-1

I've got her MTB book, but this one is more general. The Park Tool book is also good.
