[Unofficial] Official Commuter Video Thread
We have sticky for pics and what was the weather like but I know I like videos and I think we could get a decent thread going? Then everyone who likes the videos could just subscribe to the sticky and be current on any videos posted rather then having to comb the forum or just miss out on the fun! Just an idea, anyone second this motion
* Edit Ok fine, took it upon myself to at least give a central thread for videos, tips, editing talk etc.
* Hopefully it will get sticky.

is there a sticky for getting started with the video thing? I'd love to hear recommendations for hardware and setup.

This could be it, if admins see fit perhaps this could be the sticky video thread dealing with videos and discussions on the subject. Hopefully some more people respond and show theres a demand.

I think it's a good idea. I always like it when people post commuting videos.

Wow, only 7 responses so far.
Maybe a video sticky under Electronics or Foo?

Yeah I thought for sure a better response, on a side note I'm fabricating a new adjustable frame mount in hopes of a nice tight picture, better flowing. I will post pics once I get started, I have to purchase a small block of aluminum to be machined at desired specs :-)

I'd be interested in a video sticky thread. Being a newbie to cycling/commuting, watching videos of actual commutes and maneuvering traffic is invaluable.

Ok lets just make this the thread, and hope for a sticky. I edited the title but haven't seen if it updated. Post your videos, discuss tips, maybe post pictures of your camera setups. Mine is in the works and will be posting new video and pics of setup soon. I also have something special cooking up, it involves,VholdR,RC Chopper, and the bike :-)

I have 65 vids online to date. My sigpic is the gateway to my vids. Here is my setup as originally posted in Electronics:
After playing around with different ideas for a couple of months, I finally have settled upon the right combination for comfort and versatility with my helmet cam.
If you want any more specific camera/editing/riding info, post your question here for all to see, then shoot me a PM with the link to your question so I can answer it here as well. If this thread becomes popular of sticky, I will check it daily(ish). For now, PM me with a heads-up.
Top photo was taken in a mirror so everything is reversed. Mirror is on my LEFT side when wearing helmet.
If you want to kick my arse about the content of the vids, take it over to A&S.

Yeah it seems it might be kind of a duplicate since there is already a entire section dealing with electonics and gadgets. Maybe this thread could get moved and renamed to just videos, not merely commuting.

^^^Yeah, I like to watch roadie vids, fixie vids, downhill vids, whatever. There actually is a "hey check out this cool video that someone else made" thread somewhere on BF. Just not one for the producers of such vids to advertise their own stuff.
