Tube 700x23 on tire 700x35
I am a bike noob here so please bear with me
I went to a local bike shop to get tube for my bike which has 700x35 tire
The bike shop owner gave me 700X23 telling me it should be fine with my given tire size
Now when I look at the tube, it seems too thin/narrow for my tire
Do you guys think I should be fine with such a big number difference 35 vs 23 ?
Any comments on this ?
Thanks
Dd

The earlier post was for a 700X23 -> 700x28.
700x35 is a different issue. I wouldn't recommend it.

I'll elaborate a bit more, (I had to shut my system down, so I was brief).
Our SV 15 Tube fits the following sizes:
700 x 18C
700 x 20C
700 x 22C
700 x 23C
700 x 25C
700 x 28C
Our SV 17 Tubes Fit:
700 x 28C
700 x 30C
700 x 32C
700 x 35C
700 x 38C
700 x 40C
700 x 45C
Because of the materials we use, our tubes have a very high degree of elasticity; other brands may or may not have the same properties.
As JeffS states, if you have to get home; do what you need to do, but I wouldn't put an SV 15 (or comparable size) into a 700x35 tire for the long run. You're asking for trouble, as you may be courting a tube failure...... not my idea of a good time and not a place I'd cut corners.

Good call folks.
I didn't look closely at the OP's numbers when I posted above.
