Polarizing groups and taking the majority side is awesome for ratings. Bonus points for appealing to the general public's baser instincts, such as promoting the death penalty for anyone who inconveniences some one else.

Just what they need. Publicity for a dying show.

Thanks for keeping us posted pcmike. I agree they shouldn't get the publicity, but hopefully a message is sent to other media outlets about the content of thier programming. I listiened to the broadcast and was disturbed by what they said, especially when someone threw something at me a little while ago.

What I put on my sig:
I live in the greater Detroit area, and I bike over 20 miles to work and back everyday (and I own three US-built Ford vehicles). I'm just a working guy going to work. I obey all the traffic laws (which can't be said of MOST car drivers), and almost all drivers that I encounter in turn respect my right to be there. It's too bad your stations endorse (by allowing them to continue) idiotic, irresponsible, illegal and dangerous positions like this. Their willingness to paint all members of a group with the same brush because they've seen some behave irresponsibly is the worst kind of stereotyping, if they applied exactly the same thought processes to skin color they'd be engaging in illegal hate speech.

I just removed the presets for your stations from all 3 of my cars and my personal and home radios. I don't need your kind of "entertainment".

In the spirit of protest against motorist, I rear-ended a Ford Excursion this morning in my Trek Remedy 9 mtb at 25mph.

I showed him!!!

Hook Line.... Sinker!

Well if they are shock jocks.... wouldn't that mean anything they spew out is suppose to invoke shock and awe controversy? As such, to minimize their shock and aweness, one should just ignore them. Getting baited into it, just means their approach works and therefore increased ratings.
