Get a 3" PVC pipe cap. bolt it upside down to your lower rear braze-on. use a bungee, rope, or something more ingenious to secure the stick to your rack. (obviously the hockey stick handle goes in the PVC cap)
I really can't think of a high-sticking joke, but insert one here.

I'd tie wrap a piece of pvc tubing to the 2 rear stays with a cap on the bottom of the tube. Just drop the stick in.

I used to carry mine along my toptube affixed with a couple of Velcro straps. Make sure you don't mess up your steering. You could instead mount a fishing rod holder somewhere behind you, maybe with hose clamps on your rack somehow and carry the stick vertically behind you.

I used to carry a 3 foot t-square to drafting class that way. some loops of velcro will keep it in place....Hadn't thought about doing it for my clubs though...might be good for the driving range...driver, 5-iron, wedge...

you mention having to also carry your hockey kit. just flip the sticks over and with them up you can use it as a rack.

I use an Easton Synergy ST 2007 Intermediate 65 Flex hockey stick -embarrassed- I'd need like 110 Pro Flex sticks to carry my junk XD. Nah, I doubt my equipment would put 65 lbs of pressure on the sticks.

Carry it like a jousting lance. Shout epitaphs with an ol' english accent at bystanders and motorists.
