Based upon what I've observed, I think you'll get your items. The website just started performing a bit better. Item stock and availability is changing as I navigate around. Might not be tied directly into the ERP system, but my guess is that the ordering system gets item availability updates and has safety stock built in (I do ERP integration, so I have some knowledge in general).

I've also figured out that they have other websites that tie into this one, or at least together. Prices are different, but availability is the same. I decided to pick up a pair of tactical boots for $10, but the free ship code won't work for me anymore. That is actually a good sign.

I just placed an order with Galls. Thanks for the tip, DallasSoxFan. The website is acting up and having trouble issuing confirmation codes, so I called in and placed my order over the phone. They will correct the pricing to what is shown on the website, but the free shipping code is only for orders OVER $200. Either way, I got 4pr shorts and waterproof duty boots for $40 incl tax and shipping.

Get it while it's hot... the pants are already sold out.

When I add a clearance item it's either full price, unavailable, or both. The curse of an average size I guess.

I ordered the Mocean Bike Pants too - plus the Mid-weight Balaclava w/Face Guard for $5 - total was less than $10.

Hopefully the pants will fit nicely and work good for this winter commute...

The website is screwed up. I placed a second order for boots this morning. Got the confrmation email for that, but not for the bike pants from early AM. Ah well, se la vie.

Yeah, per the customer service rep I talked with, there is a glitch in the confirmation system that is keeping orders from completing. You have to call in and they'll handle it for you. They were super nice.

I called when I failed to receive a confirmation message and the rep said that they had my info, but no record of an order. Fortunately they still had the pants in my size, so I should have them in a few days.

FWIW, the rep quoted me the full price but I told her that the price on the clearance page was different, and she found the $4.98 price in her system.

I had the same problem! I really didn't need anything, and that convinced me for now. But it's good to know about this place for when I really do need something later.

Thanks for the alert. By the time I checked out the site most normal sizes were gone. But I did get 3 pairs of shorts for just over $14.

Got my order from Galls today! I ordered two pair of the black Mocean "Approach" pants, and two of the navy stretch fabric long pants, but only received one pair of the first item, the packing slip indicated that the others were out of stock

I'm not complaining though, they billed me correctly and I got an amazing deal ($4.98 marked down from $99) on a very cool and rugged garment, thanks again to DallasSoxFan for the tip!!

Update 2: I just noticed that the packing slip I received with the pants said that the other two pair (navy long patrol pants #TR331) were shipped seperately and sure enough, the Fedex guy just dropped them off. Second box had taken on water and one pair were soaked inside their plastic bag, but the other was dry. No problem, they're nylon & spandex anyway.

I like the Moceans a bit more than these and may cut them down to shorts, but I'll certainly get a lot of use out of them. I need to keep an eye on their clearance list for more bargains in the future!

Well I missed that but got a pair of the REI Taku pants for $49.00 down from $159.00 should be great for most everything I encounter including skiing.

Ironically, the guy that started the thread got nothing. They lost my order and were out of stock for the reorder. I did get a sweet pair of boots for $15, so no complaints.

The order I thought was lost arrived today although I never got a ship confirm. The Mocean Approach bike pants are pretty nice. 3 pairs for $23 including shipping. awesome.
