Ladies: Sugoi Wallaroo 290 Speedster hoodie?
Hey all,
I'm looking into getting the Sugoi Wallaroo 290 Speedster hoodie as a layer for colder fall / wintery days.
https://www.backcountry.com/outdoorge...388&mv_pc=r126
Do any of you ladies out there have this? It's the merino wool version of the regular Speedster. I can't find it locally but am wondering:
1. Do you like it?
2. How warm is it?
3. Does the hood fit under your helmet or is it too bulky?
Eager to hear your thoughts!
-Robyn
P.S., Not sure the best spot to post this... I've cross posted from the "Winter" list... Let me know if there's a better spot!

Hey, dognamedbanjo, it seems like the link you used is a bad one or closed. Try again.
I can tell you from experience that hoodies under your helmet does not work well. Usually, they are too bulky, but even thin hoodies under your helmet just doesn't feel right. The hoodie kinda twists when you turn your head.
Sometimes you can get your hoodie OVER your helmet, but that is kinda goofy and gives you tunnel vision by blocking your side view.
Hoodies are cute on girls, though, and if you like the look, why not. Just don't get it for the purpose of using the hood while you are biking (especially with a helmet).

Oops - here's the link again.

Good advice - I certainly don't want to block peripheral vision, and if it limits movement it'll be a no-go for me, probably. Thanks!
