All my commutes use to be in the dark- I worked 10pm to 4am - so my coworkers dubbed me ninjagirl, I added the bike part and kept on riding

Mine is a practical matter, meeting the requirements of several filters for usernames: at least eight characters, contains at least one number, random enough that it will always be available.

Xi Yang Shen is a Chinese herb. American ginseng.
I practice Chinese medicine but am not Chinese so a weak connection there?
I heard stories of my great, great(?) uncle in Virginia collecting American ginseng to sell to China.
He had no idea what it was for but I guess it was a good supplement to his income.
The picture, however, is not me.

You are correct. Two are in the LAD and one is mid RCA. Actually made it to the Hospital before the MI kicked in to full Arrest. If I had not already been there I wouldn't have made it. I was still on the ramp.

About the same location as the one that killed my dad when he was 46.

I drive a diesel car and use the name on other forums, so I use it here to avoid forgetting my name anywhere. Strangely enough I don't use it on the diesel VW forum I belong to, mostly because it would be redundant with the topic and the other diesel names on there.

When I first got into using forums for entertainment, edification, and socializing, it was on talkbass, a musician's site. Amplifiers for bass guitar are often in the form of the head (the amp) and the cabinet (the speaker). Any cabinet that can take on a gig without other speakers is called a "standalone" cab.

Cycling was something that I came to as a teenager when my loner streak was at its most evident. I'm far from a loner these days, but it is still definitely a part of what makes me who I am.

mrbrown has been my nickname since my teens. I said "How now brown cow?" a lot then. Friends called me mr brown cow, and it later got shortened to mr brown. My wife, then my girlfriend, was already called mrs brown even then.

I've had this nickname for more than 20 years now. It is always fun when people meet me and realise I am a Chinese Singaporean.

The kids of my friends call me Uncle brown, and colleagues call me brown, even former expat bosses, some of them British.

mrbrown.com is also the name of my blog where I have been writing and producing online content for more than 12 years.

Me First!

I used Joey Brooks (not my real name) because of high school baseball. I was a pretty fair third baseman and a fellow named Brooks Robinson played for the Orioles at the time at third base. Guys on my team started calling me Brooks, and it stuck.

As for Joey, that's a nickname given to me by my family long as I can remember.

I never post my real name on the Internet.

OK! Fill me in on yours if you will!

EDIT: Funny, MY user name here is JoeyBike, not Joey Brooks! My bad. joeybike (all lower case) was invented by me in 1994 with the acquisition of my very first email account because my first ten choices were already taken. Ironically, I registered as Joey Brooks - not my real name - and have ever since. When I signed up here, JoeyBike was a no brainer.
I choose NuVinciBoy because I had all but given up on bicycles. When a friend mention the NuVinci hub, It revised my boyish love for riding bicycles again.

I'm the Jive. So, that's what you call me. That, or His Jiveness. Or Jiver. Or El Jiverino, if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

apparently on the new river in west virginia, any loud and obnoxious raft customers are referred to as fifos.....f**king idiots from ohio. when my kayaking buddies in north carolina found out i was moving to ohio, they stuck that nickname on me. i also use it as my trail name when i'm hiking the appalachian trail.
