More commuters and bike to school?
Over all I am seeing a few more commuters, but last night, my son and I pulled up to a stop light to make a total of 6 bicylists waiting for the light...this was pretty strange/wierd. Only 1 looked to be on training ride...the others looked like commuters.
Overall my impression is that I see a lot more kids biking to school this year. (my commute has a lot of school on or close to it ...for SJ locals, Curtner ave: St. Chris, Booksin, Willow glen Middle and High, bagby and St. Frances Cabrini at the the end of my commute
What are your observations on commuter and bike to school numbers?

I don't know if the numbers are up, but I was pleasantly surprised by the number of kids I saw locking up at my kids' school when I rode with them. I thought we might be the only ones, but there were quite a few. Not like when I was a kid, but definitely more than I thought there'd be.
