Flat pedals for a road bike?
What are my options, went to the LBS and they are to narrow for my feet, especially when it's cold out and I will have boots on.

I ride my CX on city trails/bikepaths that often have sidewalks and the need to cross city streets as a part of them. Had to switch to a BMX style pedal (no toe clips) in order to navigate the street crossings. The extra distraction of getting on the pedal correctly with a narrow sidewalk, people, cars, etc was not safe. Noticed no difference in my ride time and was more confident in the ride. a Win Win for me.

I have large feet, I like a big pedal. The MKS Lambda/ Grip King do the trick for me. I've heard that you can put Power Grips on them, might try that this winter...
