Axle mounted rack on a Rohloff?

Hi,

I could use some advice...

I started commuting 2000k ago on a race mountainbike, more specifically an Endorfin Speed R (Rohloff) and already my Topeak MTX seatpost rack has broken...

I prefer a rack over a backpack, so I am looking into getting a replacement, preferably still using a standard Topeak rack. However, the frame does not have any eyelets anywhere. The most robust solution seems to be an axle mounted rack. However, I vaguely remember to have read this is not good for a Rohloff, or is it? Can't find the info anymore.

Alternatively, can I use P-clips on the 'rear triangle' near the axle and also near the seatpost/ use a seatpost clamp for racks?

Not looking forward to a sweaty back the next couple of days...

Yes. No idea as to how it would work with a Rohloff, but you can do this. Just do it; you're talking about a couple bucks in parts.

I figure for the $1000+ a Rohloff costs, they should be willing to answer this question
