What Kenny G and my Tricross have in common
I'll tell you at the end. But first, here are some things I like about my Tricross:
1. It looks great, and I get admiring glances (atleast I think they're admiring) from other cyclists when at the lights. It's a 58cm so it's big and imposing.
2. 2 panniers, great practicality!
3. New bike, so nice and clean. Beautiful bronze/brown color for 2009 Sport.
4. Such a comfortable ride with 32mm 80 psi tires.
Some things I dont like about it:
1. Toe over lap.
2. Both Kenny G's Songbird and this bike's ride start off great, but after a few minutes, both get boring. Kenny G drags on and on with his funny trumpet, and my Tricross has no nimbleness in traffic. It's great if you just wanna go straight, otherwise it's a Kenny G experience.

Saying Kenny G plays a trumpet is a disgrace to all of us who play trumpet, both amateurs and professionals.
Kenny G very much plays a soprano saxophone mostly. Sometimes he plays an alto or tenor. Never a trumpet.

I thought you were going to say something like it seems like he's warming up but never gets around to actually playing anything.

A new set of rims and tires livened up my 09 tricross sport. Give her a new set of shoes then re-evaluate.

To the guy who said Kenny doesn't play a trumpet. Most likely you're right, I dont know much about brass instruments or even instruments in general. So to me, he still plays... a trumpet.

A soprano sax is far from a trumpet in just about every way. It hurts me to think that there are people out there who think Kenny G plays a trumpet.

Dear God, that "instrument" is the work of the devil himself. Nobody sounds good playing a soprano sax. Nobody. I don't care if Kenny G never existed, I'd still hate it.

I thought the sax was invented to fill the gap between woodwinds and brass instruments in military bands.

Fair enough. I try not to listen to him play at all.

Sadly, Adolphe Sax died before hearing the work his invention was created for--playing over the credits on The Benny Hill Show.

Meh.
>2. 2 panniers, great practicality!
+1
>3. New bike, so nice and clean. Beautiful bronze/brown color for 2009 Sport.
I have the same one.
>4. Such a comfortable ride with 32mm 80 psi tires.
Even better with 35mm at 40psi.
>1. Toe over lap.
Get smaller feet.
(I have heard this complaint. Fortunately not an issue for me. Either I have spectacularly good foot/eye coordination, or size 44 feet clipless works well with 52cm.
-1. Well, I agree about Kenny G (assuming 'trumpet' was a joke). What is "nimbleness in traffic" anyway? Zipping between moving cars? Eep.
Meh.

Interestingly, I did knock out a tooth using a very similar technique. Step 3 was actually "slam door into bell".

As for Kenny G, the G stands for Gihad, the religious war he has waged on all forms of decent music since he started recording.
As for John Coltrane, very few people can be mentioned as his equal (Charlie "Bird" Parker, is the only one to come to mind).
And for those of you who can't tell the difference between a soprano saxophone and a trumpet, FOR GODS SAKE, TAKE A MUSIC APPRECIATION COURSE!!!!!!
And for the record, Yamaha trumpets play much better than Bach's.
