That guy that just screamed obscenities at you out his passenger window gets caught at the next traffic light.
I really pissed him off when I pulled alongside and blew him a kiss

like on that snowy morning a couple of years ago when a moran just had to gun it as he passed me...lost control and ended up smacked into a tree. When I stopped to help him he tried to attack me, which didn't go any better for him. Good times.

I love it when drivers try to blame their poor driving skills on everyone around them by releasing violence. I don't wish violence upon anyone, but sometimes things like this are too funny to not laugh at

Not exactly a great thing, but seeing him get in trouble for being a dick was good: during a Critical Mass ride a few months ago, someone was getting REALLY annoyed at having to be behind a bunch of bikes. Suddenly, he pulls into an oncoming traffic lane and tries to pass us over a double yellow line. He almost hits a biker, who skids and slams into the pavement. Guy stops and we call the cops

On a pack ride, a guy on a chopped Harley swerves into bike lane right in front of our paceline, and flys by the backed up traffic in the car lane...including the local LEO. We all laughed as we rode past the LEO writing the ticket for the Bad Biker.

Almost get hit this morning by a guy with fogged up windows rolling through his subdivision stop sign while I'm on the main road. He lays on the horn while his tires screech to a halt and his car stops inches from my right leg. I let of a mouthful of obscenities at him and continue pedalling; this is the 3rd time in as many months it's happened at this same road, with this same guy.
As I'm riding off, I hear a pedestrian sort of laugh and yell something, so I turn stop and turn around.
"Do you think it's *expletive* funny that I almost got run over!?"
"What? No! That was an astonished 'ha'. What I said was that I was twice as far away as him, and even I could see you."
"Oh. OK. Then I'm sorry I yelled at you. Enjoy your morning."

Years ago... traffic is backed up big time. I'm in the BL moving past all the stopped cars. But up ahead the motor traffic has decided to commandeer the BL. I figure I'm screwed. I start slowly making my way between the cars... only to find a motorcycle cop ahead of me, clearing the BL... Clear sailing ahead!

Yup, and on my regular cycling route.
Was years ago during one of the Buick Invitational Golf Tournaments... I think before Tiger. Folks trying to access the Tournament were the cause of the heavy traffic. These days they use shuttle buses and spectators park offsite.
Indeed it was cool slowly working my way between the cars (so little room) and then seeing this cop standing there waving the cars off the BL. Loved it. He had his motorcycle parked on a traffic island right behind him.

Getting buzzed by a road-rager... who gets stuck behind another car at the next light, then has to watch helplessly as the other car lets me proceed through the light before they even go. Happened to me twice in nine years. Memorable.
I roll past the rager, eyeballing him/her, they flap their gums at me; the first car in line sees me and nods as I stop next to his/her car The light turns, I stand and accelerate, they slow-roll behind me through the green. I hear the honks further back, and just chuckle.
Once in '03, and again 2 years ago.

I was towards the end of the group in a Ride of Silence 2 years ago, and heard some guy in a pickup complaining about us. He accelerated loudly around the pack, and found a uniformed bike cop leading the group. Suddenly, he just had to turn down one of those side streets.

Karma is when...
You move over to the left enough at a red light so somebody can make a right turn. While stopped the driver asks you for directions to a local street. After you tell him, he thanks you and complements you on getting exercise on such a nice day.
Karma can be good as well as bad. Yin Yang.

I got cut off riding my bicycle to campus the first day of the semester. I got a good look at the driver. Turns out he is in one of my classes. I have a picture of me on the bicycle on my University home page which I show to the class the first day so they know where to find the course material. The look on his face when he see the photo and realizes it was me who he cut off. I just give him that look that lets him know I know it was him that cut me off. I never said anything but I know he was sweating it the whole semester ...

akohekohe, that was my favourite story! It's so true that it's hard to recognize the person when they aren't in bike gear (or vice versa). I love it that you had a chance to show off your 'disguise'. I bet that that guy hasn't buzzed a cyclist since!
When getting into cycling, I rode a few 50k rides with my club before doing a 100k ride, where we actually take off the helmets and sunglasses at a restaurant/bathroom stop. It was very strange... I couldn't recognize most of these people, with whom I had passed many hours, until they said something, since I had only a vague idea of what they really looked like! I knew voices better than faces, unless those faces were wearing helmets and sunglasses.

For some reason, I am being paid in Karma. Tonight's commute featured four 30+ mph streaks of speed, abruptly halted by stoplights on major thoroughfares turning red when there was absolutely no traffic present from the adjacent streets. Buzzkill.
