Best 1.75" tire???
My 20” x 1.75” Schwalbe marathon 70psi developed a long gash in the middle of the tread (still some tread left) it would have blown out if I didn’t have a liner made from another tire. https://commutercycling.blogspot.com/...rs-expose.html
The Marathon didn’t have a Kevlar belt and is very thin, not that I trust the Kevlar belts ever since I have a puncture threw one. What I really need is half inch thick tread of hard rubber.
I tried a Marathon PLUS but the blue rubber under the tread has compressed!
Most cyclists are too week to deal with the extra weight of a heavy treaded tire so they probably don’t make them.
So what am I going to do for a good strong long lasting tire? Will moped tires fit bike rims?

best tires
The simple answer is that the swalbe marathon plus is the best commuter tire, I have never seen any thing better.
