Finally got my new commuter..

and she is So much nicer than my 35 lb 95 Trek 820 !! After a week of reading and talking with a very helpfull Thomas Schneider I Walked out of Open Road Bicycles today with a 09 Specialized Allez Double and some Shimano 520 clipless pedals !! Switched over the MJ-808 Magicshine light ,the Dinotte 140 rear light and got the seat fine tuned so she should be ready for her first commute tomarrow..I should have my shoes picked out and here within a week or so for now it toe clips..She's alot lighter than my 820 and very responsive..Gonna be fun learning her !! Sorry bout the crowded pics but it was dark outside..

Do you regularly keep that much weight on your bar?

Bike looks good, how long is your commute?

Looks nice, congratulations. One thing that I don't like about Specialized bikes I've seen so far is that weird, curved top tube. I wish it'd just be straight. Your bike looks cool and sporty, though.

Beautiful bike. Unless you are racing, don't worry about the weight. Heck, I have a set of Specialized Armadillo tires, a Brooks B-17 Special saddle, and a leather seat bag on mine. Just make sure it is comfortable for you to ride. ;-)

My commute is pretty short @ 10 miles round trip...If I take the long way.. It was quick before but now it goes by a bit quicker
