I hope this helps people interested in this item for commuting

I thought I would post a bunch of pictures of the Bike Bureau that I wished I could find when I ordered it from Carradise.

This is a 17" laptop

there is about 3 inches of space beneath the laptop at the bottom of the bag.

My Laptop & 11 1/2 bike shoes

Wet storage compartment. Holds a tripod great too

The straps are adjustable to change the size of the space

This is the catch for mechanism

There is no issue with heal strike. The bag sits pretty far back in line with the axle shaft. It also sits a slight angle away from the heal

Hi Timber,

Great pics and thanks a lot. I was actually thinking of buying this bag for my Pashley, but like you I couldn't find any pictures...the biggest concern for me was the rear kickstand folds up and I did not know if it would interfere with the bag, as it protrudes out from the rack about 2".

Is that a 17" Laptop? Have you modified the latching system? It doesn't seem to be attached directly onto your rack. If so, can you explain how you did it, what you used?

If anyone knows if this bag will sit properly on a Pashley Roadster with a fold up kickstand, please let me know.

Yes that is a 17 inch HP laptop. I didn't modify the bag, just the rack. I use a Topek quick track rack with a integrated U lock that I like a lot. In order to use my MTX trunk & the Bike Bureau I had to make a modification to the Rack. It was a very simple idea

Hi Timber8

Here is my situation. Im not sure if the kickstand when in an upright position (locked in) would interfere with the bike.
Since you have the bag, and from the pics you see, do you think the bag would fit?

The first pic is the top view of the rack, and you can see the kickstand protruding outward slightly.
The two other pics are side views of the rack are with the kickstand protruding outward about 2 inches.

Yes I do, I don't think it is a lot but some might. I commute 35 miles round trip 4 days a week. I am pretty much on my own if I have any complications along the way.

I see 2 problems, 1 is your stand will keep the Bag from attaching to the rack at the bottom & 2nd I don't think the hardware will go around the rack. The stock that rack is made out of looks as big around as your thumb. I'm not sure any Pannier will hang on that rack

I called up Carradice and surprisngly they did not know of the Pashley. I thought British bike + British bike company that they would be at least aware of each other. They said the bag will fit a 16mm rack (which this one is)

They did not know if the kickstand would pose a problem. I was thinking if the bag was mounted closer to the front of the rack, then the kickstand wouldn't be as much of a problem.
I don't mind if the bag was pushed out slightly as long as it locked in place well enough.

This is so frustrating...I wish there was someone out there with this bike who has tried this bag....or at least a North American bike company that carries this bag + bike. Or someone who lives in Ontario and has the bike that I would allow me to do a test wiith the bag/bike..<argh>...
This has been the hardest part of owning this bike....is finding a bag that is stylish for the bikes look + one that can carry my 17" MBP.

Thanks Timber

Where there is a will there is a way, You could do something very similar to what I did also. That would move the bag out and down and probably will clear your kick stand. It would also make the stock you rack is made out of a non issue. I would say order the bag and give it some thought. Post some more pictures of the bike so I can get a better look at it and I will help you brain storm on it. Worst case remove the Kick stand and put a center mount one on it

Timber_8.... How's your bike bureau working out on your commute? Mine should arrive in a few days. Ordered it last week. I'm looking forward to ditching my backpack.

I love it, I have not 1 complaint. My laptop fits real well & there is plenty of room for anything a need. It doesn't rattle or make any noise on the bike or rack. Your going to like it especially if your using a back pack now

Today was my first commute with the Bike Bureau. I was very happy with it after one day. It was a bit more cramped than I thought it would be, but I packed plenty of stuff: 15" laptop, dress shoes, pants, shirt, tie, belt, underwear, socks, shaving kit, iPhone, blackberry, wallet, office id lanyard, and gym id. Everything fit and my office clothes didn't get too wrinkled. I had some room left over. The cotton duck is very stiff, but I have a feeling that it will soften and get more flexible which should make the bag feel larger. The latch mechanism was secure and easy to get on and off the rack. It rained on my way home and there was no hint of dampness inside the bag. The cotton duck material repelled water no problem and wiped clean with an old sock. The Bike Bureau is very professional looking so I was comfortable carrying it into the office. My only gripe is that it lacks a pocket on the outside for a water bottle. I ended up carrying the water bottle by hand, but I could have stuffed it inside the main compartment. All in all, I'm very happy with the Bike Bureau.
