Anyone riding a Brompton folding bike

Just saw one on youtube. Interesting design.
I couldn't find any US dealers.
Anyone ride one regularly as their commuter?

harris cyclery in the boston area does, as does bike123 in suburban MD.

my guess is they're OK for short commutes or "hybrid" bike/subway/bus/train commutes, but nothing you'd want to ride 20 miles on

I have ridden one on a fairly regular bases for a number of years. Carry it in my semi's sleeper when on the road as well.
Ive certainly ridden it often way past 20 miles. People in UK and Europe have been known to tour with them.
Go to the Brompton web site and see where the dealers for US are and learn a little bit about them at same time.

There are lots of dealers for Brompton and for the other folding bike options. Bike Friday's Tikit is something to look at for commuting too. You can fold them up and put under your desk at work during the day.
