New waterproof commuter pannier/backpack from North St.
I came across this gem on Etsy - The Woodward - beautiful, feature-packed, hyuuuge (may pose some heelstrike issues to those with short chainstays and big feet), and available in custom color combinations. Pricey, but, hey, hand-made in the USA, custom colors, padded shoulder straps, weatherproof roll-top, and looks like it can take some abuse. The outfit, North St. Bags, also have some smaller and simpler pannier/backpacks, and grocery panniers made from recycled vinyl banners. Not my deal, as I like shoulder bags like the Carradice Bike Bureau (or my h4xXorzed Detours Uptown), but man, this is making me think twice about my backpack-phobia. Not too out of line with Ortleib or Arkel prices, either.
