My new commuter bike...

It's an LLBean Acadia. Which I guess is a schwinn in disguise. I bought it for $200 off CL... I got my gf a matching one from the same guy. I'm really excited. It got great reviews and I can't wait to strip off the back rack, lights, and other stuff from my FELT and put them on this bike.

Congrats! Take some pictures when you have it set up, and let us know how you like it on the commute.

I have a FELT F35x which is a cross bike that I'm converting into a road bike to potentially race, and that was my all purpose bike. I was hoping to buy a Raleigh Detour 4.5 today, but the guy on craigslist said he was committed to someone else, but he'd call me if the guy low balled him or backed out. So I figured where it was a craigslist transaction I had a 50% chance of getting it. Well the guy who first inquired ended up buying it.

So I'm like ****! So I log on to craigslist 20 minutes after the guy texted me to say he sold it. And I find this hybrid cruiser. He had a matching female version of the bike, and was willing to sell them both for $350. Which is basically the cost of just ONE of these. So he delivers them to my house, I tested them, and payed the man. So far I've gone on two joy rides. Then I took it down to dominos, and bungee strapped the pizza to my back rack that I took off my felt and put on it. And now I'm about to go to a gas station to get a bottle of water. I love this bike. Its the most comfortable bike i've ever had.
