Distance: 4 miles
Car about 10 minutes
Bike about 20 minutes less on the way back because its mostly downhill
Times vary, but thats probably pretty acurate.

Total distance - 6.5 miles - Queens to West Side of Manhattan.
Bike: 40-45 minutes depending on lights and traffic.
Subway + walk to station: 35-40 minutes. (At night, can be much longer when trains don't run as often)
Car: Rush hour - 1 hour plus....it can take 2 hours sometimes. Middle of the night - 20 minutes.

Just using the portion of my commute where I usually bike (~12 miles):
Bike to work: 52-57 minutes
Bike from work: 63 Minutes (yeah hills!)
Drive to work: 30-50 minutes, plus the 10 extra minutes to park and walk from parking to my office. And the $18 for parking.
Drive from work: 30-60 minutes
Ain't traffic grand?
If I rode all the way from home to work and back (~20 miles), I think it would take me about 85-95 minutes each way (I've done it once), and driving would take about 35-60 minutes each way.
Public transit is about 50-55 minutes, plus the mile-and-a-half to the station (20 minutes walking, 8-10 on the bike, 8-10 in a car) (plus the $5/ each way and $4.50 to park if I drive to transit).

bike to work: 45 mins (16km) each way + 10 mins for changing/freshening up
public transportation: 55 mins (train and bus)
driving: no idea, because it's been a long time since I drove, but I'd guesstimate at about 30 mins

By car about 9 miles, ~ 14 minutes.
By bike - longer, but arguably safer route - 14 miles, ~ 45 minutes there, about 50 minutes home

15 minutes by car. 30-40 by bike depending on how hard I feel like pushing and the wind direction. It's not real unusual for me to make it in under thirty.

I have a mixed mode commute. Bike-train-bike, door to door, is 2 hours and 15 minutes. The drive to work takes me just over an hour. By bike it's 26.5Km each way. If I were to ride the whole way, it'd be about 48Km each way. I've no idea what it is by car.
