First Commute of 2011!!
Although not typically a big deal, this year it is for me as it is my first commute to work since I broke my leg mid January. I've done a few test rides around the neighborhood over the last week or so, and the Doc gave me the green light to continue, so off I went. It was great! 
Altough I'm a bit slower than normal, it was still teriffic to be out...can't wait for the ride home this evening!! Still have alot of ankle swelling to contend with but i can deal with that. For all those out there recovering from various breaks...hang in there!!

Awesome. I hope that if I every have an injury setback like yours that I would have a similarly positive attitude during and after the recovery.
