Proposal to start a commuter program at work
I want to propose a commuting incentive program to the marketing department at my work, what I was hoping to get was a copy to use as a template. Do any of your employers have a program in place that you could cut and past or pdf me. I was reading the company new letter the other day and the headline was parking or lack of, which got me thinking about riding a bike and what it would take to get my co worker to use a alternate means of transportation and free up a few extra spots. Im a 5 day a week 365 a year biker so my parking spot is right up by the door, never a problem with me.

You could try and convince them to take part in a fairly new IRS benefit program. See https://www.bikeleague.org/resources/commuters/index.php for more info and some downloadable pdf reimbursement cards.

Awesome to see you thinking about this Matt!
A few things that come to mind:
See if management will be more flexible when bikers can leave. Since many bike commuters tend to arrive at the office early in the morning, allow them to leave their desks early to enable them to change and get ready for the ride home.
If your employer pays for parking, see if they would be willing to spend that money instead on shower only memberships to a nearby gym.
Check out the IRS program that dyneq mentioned. It is only $20/mo, but that $20 can cover some of the ongoing maintenance of a bicycle.
