First Commute - Finally!
Did my first commute today, overall only about 10 miles round trip, but for me it's kind of a milestone.
Here's my rig:
They finally got the roads into the job site paved all the way. Up to now, parts were either dirt, which they kept watered down to keep down dust (making it mud), and other areas were loose rocks.
Also I had been forced to lug a big 17" laptop computer back and forth, as I had no place to lock it up at the job site, but now I do.
So no more excuses!
So besides the commute, I spent a good part of the day running around inside the building on a Schwinn three-wheeler - and the Schwinn in no way fits me as good as my Motobecane, let me tell you. So I have a couple of sore legs now!
