Biked to work for the first time (at this job)

It's a long one for me ... 32 miles each way with 1800 feet of gain, but I feel great. I like that I got free coffee and schwag upon arrival

Congrats.
That's a hefty commute. Are you planning on hitting this every day?
What kind of free stuff did you get?

There's no way I could do this commute daily, it took 2:20 and I still need to ride home! Maybe once every other week or so. I'm riding an early 90's mountain bike with slicks, which seems about right; comfortable, and a good climber.

They were giving away bike maps, bells, coupons, food, bags, and other things that tend to clutter up your garage It was neat to see so many bikes out there though.
