Looking to get a bike, narrowed it down to a few. Opinions please!

Ok, I narrowed my bike choices down to only a few used ones i looked at this weekend. they are more or less the same besides the one odd ball.

I am looking at a used 2010 Jamis Allegro 3
used Marin Argenta (2006)
also a giant ocr 3, not sure of the year

lastly a new scott sub 50.

I am not huge on having gears, i currently ride an old home made single speed steel clunker, looking to get something nicer and lighter. I ride a lot now for fitness, very flat area, hoboken nj and manhattan. . .

I'd look at getting a carbon frame and just putting whatever you like on it since you don't want gears.
