Cheap Rear Mountain Wheel for Back Up
Any recommendations for a cheap, $50 or less, for a back up commuter. Needs to be rim brakes and presta valve. Thanks!

My opinion is just buy this wheelset. If you don't need it right away you can wait and buy it when its on a really good sale. I bought mine with they were 20% off and free shipping (still paid overweight shipping though) and even with the shipping charge I think the wheelset ended up costing me less than $60.

I'd probably get a wheelset too. And I'd probably splurge a little bit myself. $119 for Sun UFO laced to Deore. 32°.

But, here's a rear wheel for $35 + shipping:

See what your LBS has available, cheaper the wheel set,
the more likely it needs some hand tensioning and truing.
if you don't do that, yourself, your local is there to help you.
