I have a couple of places where I have to deal with on and off ramps, most notably this:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=nutley...06899&t=k&z=17
I don't ride through it often, but when I do, I take the right lane, and do my best to get through it as quickly as possible. The good news is that there usually isn't a ton of traffic transiting this section, so I'm mostly worried about the folks coming off the highway. The bad news is that the traffic is usually moving really fast, and it is uphill (posted limit is 35, but traffic moves closer to 50 on average).
The worst section, in my opinion, is the southernmost part of the interchange with the southbound lanes of Nutley, where the folks coming off the interstate don't have a merge lane. They tend to accelerate really hard and only look with half an eye (and definitely not for a bike). I usually try to take the next lane over at that point, as I'm not that much slower than traffic once I'm on the downhill side.
