Collapsible rear basket
|
That's just a spin off of the Wald 582, a very common basket on bikes and perfect for a grocery bag. I would just order the Wald if I were you. But I'm sure Bell is okay too.

My wife has the Wald baskets on her bike and loves them.

I've used the walds on my old bike. I had one for each side of my rack which worked really well. I don't know about this rack though, from the reviews it seems like it's not put together too well.

Just go for the Wald and save yourself the hassle-- you'll end up with it in the long run. I love mine- nearly indestructable. Get one for each side to balance the load.

Yes.

love my walds, not sure about the Bell.

Jdswitters, where did you get the bag that is in your basket? Is it insulated?

+1 on Scooby's question - inquiring minds want to know!

I have used the Walds and liked them. I got rid of that bike and the Walds are now somewhere in my garage. I probably need to find them one of these days.

I have two of the Bell units on the back of my 72 Schwinn Suburban - hold ALOT of stuff and seem fine and durable. You just need to "wiggle" them a bit to fold securely after opening. Wald is a good brand however and if price is the same would likely go for the Wald - if not get the Bell...
