10 this AM (24 deg F, wind 15 g30)
17 on the way home (32 deg F, same wind)
In the summer it would be closer to 100.

Have never seen another commuter on my commute, but then it is an hour ride and I have done it quite a few times and never seen another soul.

I see the same core group of commuters, about four of us who commute daily regardless of weather or daylight. However living in a very big college town there are people commuting by bike virtually year round.

Occasionally I see one on the way home, always the same guy. Sometimes I see one or the other of a couple of guys in the morning, but only if I go out of my way. I never see anyone on the way to work via my regular route.
In the winter it will likely be only me.

It's been a couple weeks since I saw any other bike commuters during my commute...Still at least 5 people at work biking it. They don't travel my direction though. In the peak of the summer there were 14 other people biking to my office. Only 1 of those came from the same direction as me, but I would see two or three others most days.

I also see an old guy most mornings in OKC. He's usually heading into town as I'm heading away from town. This morning with below freezing weather, not counting wind chill, he was riding dressed in what looked like regular trousers, a heavy plaid jacket and a winter cap on his head. I was layered up and had my balaclava on, heavy gloves, etc., and I was still a little cold. He may not be a commuter, but he's a lot tougher than I am.

I commute to campus 5 days a week, so my numbers are skewed by the fact college students are broke. Even through this last cold snap (the high for the week was 8ºF, morning temps have been between -5º and -15º depending on which end of town you're coming from) there's been at least a dozen bikes that show up and leave campus, by my count.
Outside of campus I've seen about 8 commuters in the last two days on the streets, which is notable for this time of year (I've been staying off the MUP until it firms up, and that's where a lot of the commuter traffic is); a few were too far away to make anything other than blinky lights, but 4 were definitely women (plus one that I never see because we leave the apartment at different times: my lady, who also commutes year round). When I first started winter commuting in this town, you'd never see a gal on a bike between September and May, and now they're all over. You go girls, show these jacked up truck driving macho man Alaskan d-bags and resource-wasting wuss-pots how a real Alaskan gets around.

I've actually never noticed any bike commuters while driving in my car. But now I sort of stare at anyone with a bike, and envy them a bit. Unless they look miserable then I kind of feel sorry. Still looks fun though!

I always notice cyclists when driving. A common experience is sitting stuck in traffic and watching a cyclist pedal by on the sidewalk or in between the lanes; my usual response is regret that I wasn't also biking, instead of being stuck in the car. When it's miserable out I think "good for you, get it don't quit it!", and try to send positive vibes their way.

I saw less than 10 today, which is a lot fewer than in the warmer months. I'm happy to be one of the few though.
Same here.
