Show us your... Helmet Hair!

Nice thing about being bald (I'm guessing, I have some hair left)... No helmet Hair...

Let's see... We have the Napoleon Blownapart look:
The Shān* style:

And my personal favorite...

The Double Crested:

Let's see how the wind can make the average cyclist look completely .

If you can't laugh at yourself, you're probably not breathing.

i buzz my mane specifically to avoid the whole helmet hair situation at work (no shower at my office). #2 clippers every several weeks does the job for me.

Yeah I cut my hair short and every 2-3 weeks to help avoid this and also I alot of the time wear a cap or something to keep things more smooth. I wouldn't rally care except I am going to work and stuff. =) This should be a fun thread I wish I had some pics to add.

I would post a picture but I have started cutting my hair without clips, so I am close to having no hair.

LOL K'Tesh Since helmet hair requires, um... hair, I have none to show: my <1mm hair isn't particularly prone to helmet hair

I'm with Steely Dan. I get it clippered regularly to avoid the issue. I've done that before I started cycling just for the low-maintenance aspect of it. I don't even own a comb.

As far as baldness. I don't have to worry. I'll never lose my hair. I'm lucky that way.

For those of us who have hair, this is a great way to avoid helmet hair. I'm waiting for the price to come down a bit, though.

I had a very well pronounced cross between the Napoleon Blownapart and the Shan this morning. Had I known about this thread CNN I would have gotten a good picture of myself in the mirror... Maybe tomorrow I'll get a repeat performance out of my hair. :-)

I'll get in here tomorrow and post a picture, hopefully after my morning ride. Seems I'm one of few that don't shave their head. Or bald.

Sorry for reviving the dormant thread, but I finally thought to photograph myself after a ride. This was me after an 8 hour ride with the boy scouts. Not sure which category I fit.

The only reason I keep my hair looking like I'm in the military is so I avoid helmet hair. I wind up with what looks similar to corn rows.
