Advice for new tyres!

Hi folks,

I currently commute on a Scott sportster hybrid bike, it has 700x37 tyres o. At the moment and Zac 19 rims.

I want to put thinner tyres on because I only mainly commute on road. I used to have a road bike years ago and want to try and replicate some speed!

It has a panieer rack but I don't often use it, opting for a backpack instead! So ride quite light!

Any help much appreciated.
