Well, technically two weeks ago, so I thought I'd post here.

I have been with out a car since Dec '10, moved around a few times since then, with my current job reachable by Bus. Its maybe a 5 - 7 minute ride on the bus (depending how many people get on it) and only a ~12 - 15 minute ride by bike. But given that my job is at a Ski Resort, and two weeks remain in the season, I think that joining the Bike Commute club is...fun!

Welcome! And I agree, pics would be great. I'm tired of seeing garages.

I can certainly work on getting pictures!

Currently 'commuting' on a (I believe) 2002 Merlin Road bike. Afraid I look like a Fred wearing Jeans, bike jersey, and a regular windproof jacket (can still be very cold around here in the mornings...30 - 40's...heats up to the 60's by the time I head home). Not to mention a velcro strap around my jeans to prevent them getting greased up.

I will be switching to my new LHT if its ready by Sunday, otherwise my work is over for the season and I'll just be riding for the fun of it.

Here is a picture of my Merlin - found on my blog - https://cyclowanderer.files.wordpress...03/photo11.jpg
The road that was taken on is called Mclain Flatts out here...I had to prop the rear tire against the railing to prevent the bike from rolling down the hill (it wasn't very flat at all!).
