Hit 1000 miles today...
...on the way home I managed to cross the 1000 mile mark for the year. I keep track of every ride on Bike Journal and today I crossed that first big milestone. I'm thinking that I'm sure to hit 3000 this year mostly from the commuting, but I think I'll shoot for 4000 by the end of the year.
This will be my first week that I have ridden to work five days in a row. The weather, tho' windy, has been warm and dry and I haven't had an excuse to get in the truck at all this week.

Congratulations! I hope most of these miles were fun to ride. I really can be bothered though to keep track of my miles.

Congratulations
For me I work in km, and the kmstones are things like 1,111.1 km.
They look pretty on my computer.

As a newb at commuting I am impressed that you've hit 1,000 miles already...am equally impressed that AdamDZ doesn't keep track.

Only 1009km for me so far this year, 340km less than last year despite this winter being much much milder. I'm going to try a 200km brevet a week from Saturday, so I should close the gap quickly.

Nice! I'm on 1113 mi, and last year I only recorded 1115 mi (rode more than that but probably only a couple hundreds miles more, at most).
If I ride tomorrow it will also be my first 5-days commuted in a week, although that's also because I often don't work from the office 5 days/week.

After 3 years, I'm still at the keeping track of my mileage stage of biking to work. It's been a great Spring for biking to work in Southern WI...mild winter too! I should be alot farther along but I am hoping to cross the 1000 mile barrier on my Tuesday ride in. I've been riding a mountain bike to work so far this year and it doesn't have a speedometer or odometer on it. I can say I haven't really missed them...takes the whole "racing the clock" out of my ride.
Keep on biking!

I get 14 each week-day commuting to work. I get about 38-40 on Saturday and again on Sunday. How much is that?

However, if he's anything like me, he's made up for it by eating more.

Congratulations. You should start posting on the commuter mileage thread in this forum. It's fun for us data junkies.
