All parts ordered, now the wait to build my commuter!

After two years of living in the middle east, I just moved back to the states. I took a few years off the bike and have been making the progression from fixie to roadie to a commuter. Now that I've got a job that will be a nice little commute (6 miles round trip), I decided to build a city bike/commuter. I picked up a 2009 Giant FCR with bars, BB, headset and stem for 35 dollars and have been piecing it together over the last month as my budget has allowed for it. I'm doing a drop bar conversion with canti's since it was a flatbar with V-brakes originally.

I finally broke down and just ordered the rest yesterday from Departmentofgoods and Tree Fort Bikes over the weekend. Can't wait to get the parts and build it up, the weather has been beautiful lately!

And a quick pitch- tree fort bikes does free shipping at 125 dollars which is nice, but their price match policy is awesome and easy to use. One item I ordered had been discontinued (original knog lightset) and the customer service guy did a price match and had a different set in my order within a few hours. I will happily be shopping with them again!

Soon as the parts start coming in I'll get some pictures up!
