That sounds pretty awesome. My office is on a military base where I have coworkers that leave S-Works and Bianchi CF bikes unlocked outside and we have a shower and lockers inside. If I didn't live 25 miles away I'd commute by bike. Hell, I may start. I mean it is on the Pacific Coast Highway...

You have every right to make us envious of this commute!
Everyone should have it this good. Think how healthy we'd be as a nation. Think of the money we'd save on health care, gasoline, parking and the reduction in air pollution. And think of all the fun people would be having and how much better they'd look and feel. It really is a no- brainer. Funny we don't just make it easier for people to commute by bike.
Well, while most of us spend the day looking like crumpled sweaty messes, worried about where we left our bikes you can feel good knowing we are living vicariously through you.

I've only got it half as good.
I work in a pretty industrial setting. Certainly not an office job. My boss is absolutely awesome about working w/ my on my parking. There's no bike rack in our parking area. There's really no way to secure a bike out there unless I want to lock it to a handicapped parking signpost. My boss lets me park the bike inside. The place is covered up in security cameras (for loss prevention reasons), and the bike is in my line of sight all day long.
They don't even mind me hanging my sweaty laundry in my work area to dry during my shift so I can don dry clothes at the end of shift.
The only downside is that there are no shower facilities there. Some wipes and a towel-down is the best I can accomplish prior to starting my shift. I'm lucky in that I don't stink after a heavy sweat. At least, I don't think I do. I can't smell myself and I've heard no complaints from my coworkers - and my coworkers would have no compunction at all about letting me know if I did stink. We're a fairly close-knit group. We're always messing with one another about whatever we can mess with each other over.

I *love* them.
Disclosure: last time I rode was in 1984 on a 10-speed bicycle-shaped-object so I'm not exactly an expert. On average during my 16km (10mile) each-way commute I use the brakes twice: when I hit an intersection where I turn left and when I stop. So basically they will last forever and I don't demand much from them.
LOL
