Uh oh, Alfine 8 question

Was doing some work on the bike today and noticed something strange. Although the hub was tight there was lateral movement in the wheel. While eyeing the disc rotor between the pads I could wiggle the wheel enough to go from one pad to the other.

I'm feeling pretty concerned about this. Could anyone with an Alfine or Nexus check if you notice any play on your rear wheel?
