    New Pletscher Zoom Kickstand

This might be old news to some, but it took me by surprise. Pletscher has redesigned their one legged kickstand. It feels lighter, looks better, seems a lot more stable and is totally adjustable without cutting.

I suppose if both set screws fell out, that could happen. There is always locktite.

If yours lasts long enough to get to C&V status, I'll get one

I'm more worried about the plastic getting brittle and breaking. Probably more of an issue in Texas than Michigan.

I think the temperature variation in Michigan will be a bigger test, but don't see a problem. We'll both be gone before the CV crowd accepts a new kickstand!
