showers pass shoe covers

Saw the touring shoe covers on close out online last night and thought they would make a nice Christmas gift for ME. Anyone out there have these? I don't ride with clipless so that's not a problem

I ride clipless, and find them to be very nice for really wet days. I have some castelli covers I use for road riding when warmth and dry are the concern, but the Showers Pass do a great job and are easy to get on and off.

Here are the ones I have:

I just bought the ones you mentioned but did do some homework before. I looked at this site this morning: http://bikearoundtheworld.typepad.co...oe-covers.html

Then I bought them this morning. They look great. The company is wonderful to deal with too!

Very cool thanks for the links. I think they will be great. I wear W/B lightweight hikers in the winter so these should do the trick.

I've had the Touring Shoe covers going on my third year. They definitely solved the wet foot problem. I've ridden in these in torrential downpours and come out dry as a whistle. They'll fit most any shoe you put in them. They fit my Keen sandals, but the Snow Sneakers I wear in the winter are too big. A must-have to complete your Rain outfit.

Are the saddles clipless? Can you please link us to your saddles? Been looking for some.

I often just wear rubber boots .. LL Bean, made in Maine.

I couldn't resist....you can get Keen's most anywhere. Try locally first. Big box sports stores have them. I have the Newports and they are not clipless. They're not cheap either. But they fit in my toe clips good. They have a clipless model but I don't swing that way. Spring and fall I wear thick socks with them and they are very comfortable.

NEOS are another , more serious Over shoe,
but the Showers pass ones will fold up
and go in your bag better , when not wearing them.

Seam sealed NEOS have a real Tread on the bottom for deeper snow walking.

I have the NEOS Explorers. The Snow sneakers fit inside good. I wear these below 5f. Totally coldproof.
