What are you doing to take care of yourself?
I had the same thing, but I think it's a low grade flu you've got. It's not the cold weather, just the flu in general.
Take care of yourself. Get the Robotussin CF, Vics Salve for the chest and under the nose, suck down cough drops all day, and drink lots and lots of fluids- orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice... the good stuff that's 100% fruit juices and not sweetened juice. Stay in bed and get lots of bedrest. And even when you start feeling like you're better, continue doing this stuff for a few days after. Don't let that flu linger and return.

Vics Salve comes in a jar. It's a petroleum jelly with eucalyptus oil inside that when spread on the chest, helps to relieve congestion greatly. If you put some under your nose, you can feel the vapors entering your nose and clearing up some of the stuffiness.
I also have the Halls cough drops, but I have the Halls fruit breezers too. The fruit breezers I used when my throat was feeling really dry, and the cough drops I was using when I had problems with all the coughing and I was between my Robotussin treatments.

If you're not feeling better in 24 hours, switch over to the Robotussin CF. It really is great at stopping congestion and coughing, as well as soothing the throat. That Nyquil stuff never works for me.

After 4 days of this, you might want to see the doc.
(And take whatever helps, Roby's CF, DM, etc.)

Ah yes, "the Halls of medicine" drops with cough syrup center will do the trick. Just don't run out.

You could try coming up to Toronto (or anywhere else on the North-Eastern seaboard) and commute with us for a week or two. 26f will seem like a balmy spring morning after that.
Today was -13c and that is the warmest it's been in three weeks. Of course, when I leave in 30 minutes I'll be enjoying 0c. Woo-hoo. Tee-shirt and shorts weather!
