Don't forget us! I think they moved DST up two weeks.

LOL thanks... I can never understand why every train is always about three cars too long to make it completely through an intersection before it comes to a halt. It's like they plan it...

Mr. Hairy Legs, I wish I had your commute. Here's my morning winter route. Only 2 miles or so, but all the MUPs I use in the summer are snowmobile trails now.

Is it an illusion that most of your ride to work is downhill? Nice sunrise too.

This takes me back to my prairie days...

I've never been able to fully get over my dislike of the white stuff.

No, it's pretty much all downhill. Two "Cat 5" climbs according to mapmyride.com, but it's more of a climb coming home, of course. Winter is fun so far, and the changing conditions keep me on my toes, or on my bike hopefully.

There is no way I would commute where most of you guys do especially the New York and Snow stuff. My route is 12 miles but there is only three stop signs and one redlight and mostly country roads. Maybe I will get my GoPro soon and put you guys to sleep.

It's all good. Speaking for myself, I like long boring stretches of road. It's nice to be able to look around during a ride or commute.

Another community that appears to value cycling as an "approved" means of transport. Nice vid, wherever you got it.

I think you're taking to many risks out there. Slow down!

I know many of those streets and it's unfortunate you have to take Path back to Jersey. I wish New York WaterWay was less expensive because Path is horrible during the morning rush hour. I'm surprised you get up that early to boad Path because after a certain hour, no bikes are allowed. Then again, you already know that!

Here is the first half of my commute in Toowoomba, Australia. Those cheap cameras really chew through the batteries .

Where I live riding on the footpath is legal...

3.5 miles, 10-15 minutes, half MUP, half street.
Contour GPS helmet cam, reverse view.

Edited and sped up for easy viewing!

Great video. Enjoyed it.

Watching these makes me want to commute again. Maybe I need to make a point of doing it once or twice a month at least.
It was pretty impressive one-handed riding over a most uneven surface.

I used to have a GoPro 960, but I didn't like getting so many mounts for different positions:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0d0X7NxhSdQ

For on bike shots I prefer the shape of the Contour, much easier to mount on different
places on the bike just using strips from an old inner tube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFyXxrqWbPA

I also have a compact/point and shoot camera, Fujifilm XP50 that I use freehand, no mounts.

I'm using the GoPro Hero 3 with chesty mount. Thinking about buying a roll bar mount...

I've posted this before. It's probably about 75% commuting as there's some stuff from a ride out in the countryside edited in as well.
