Careful with those seatpost mounts.
I've decided to retire this seatpost given the damage it has taken from seatpost mounts for luggage. Probably not bad enough to fail yet but with 200+ pounds of me plus bag or trailer I think caution is the better part of valour. I'll be wrapping the next seatpost in a layer of rubber before putting on luggage mounts.

+1 I've seen the same type of damage on my seatposts from mounting stuff onto it. Thats why a back pack or rack mount is the only way I carry stuff on a bike. Its a great idea but it will affect the finish for sure, over time.

I'm hoping a layer of Rescue Tape will do the job.
